1. The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger just purred to me,
"She's sleeping beauty!" And then he bit me for having him neutered. :yoiks:

6. Amelia the cat says thanks.
She's not too enthusiastic about other cats, possibly because she's been altered, too. She doesn't growl at them anymore though, but she did his at one of my friendliest, gentlest friends, presumably because he smelled like his three kitties.

2. 4 cats and a dog...

Billi, Miss Kitty, Dora

Miss Kitty sez: Ok, kid, yer annoying me. Cut it out, or get down!

Buddy sez: I'm cute rescue kitteh...rub my belly, scratch my neck!

Dora is brave..or stupid....not sure which one, either way, she likes to pester the dog.

Mike sez: pet me and ignore those cats!

18. Yes and no.
Charlotte loves to pick on Lucky, and Lucky snarls and growls swatting Charlotte on the head.

10 minutes later they'll curl up together and sleep, snuggling.

Both are super-affectionate with me, especially with the "Purr...face rub."

27. The towels are more for some slight insulation.
Amelia doesn't care for them and throws them on the floor oftener than not. As the weather's gotten so benign, I'm not picking them up so fast as I was.

That looks to be one patient German Shepherd right there.

17. I've had her for a few months now, still haven't named her.
Edited on Sat Apr-03-10 08:32 PM by Skip Intro

I call her Kit. No other pets at the moment, but thinking of getting another cat, or possibly a dog, for her to play with. Basically getting her a pet. Is that crazy?

This is just after I got her:

Her fascination with the monitor soon began:

She relaxed as she grew some:

Definitely doesn't like the flash:

But no doubt home:

I still miss this little guy though - my buddy for 15 years, until a couple of years ago...

23. "Kit" is a good name...
Kind of like "Kit Kitredge, All-American Girl", only she's the All-American Kitten. (Don't know anything about the dolls, but I thought the movie by that name was cute.)

I'll have to tell my handsome boy that my younger cat is his pet. Maybe he'll be a little more assertive the next time she tries to bully him. :-)
