Question About Posting Picture

How can I post pictures from my desk top here on the forum? I know it has to be something very simple I am not doing.Thanks!

1. You can't post pics from your desktop.

You have to have them hosted on a place like http://photobucket.com/

once posted there, you can copy and paste the link to DU.

2. My dear romantico...

It's fairly easy, but there are a number of steps.

First, you need to sign up with a photo hosting site. Many of us use Photobucket.

Once you've done that, you just need to follow the prompts to get your pictures loaded in there.

Then, you just roll your mouse over your picture as it exists in Photobucket, and several options appear under the picture.

One of those is Direct Link and you click on that...

Right click for copy...

And then come to DU and your post; left click and then the URL of your picture is in your post.

I always preview to make sure the picture is the right size and like that...
