5. a detachable one.
.
There IS Aerosmith's "Big Ten Inch" -- originally recorded
sometime around the late 1920's - early 1930's (my favorite
era for blues and the like).
.
Not recorded by THEM at that point... although they're
starting to look like that might have been possible.

28. Am I missing something, or is everyone else?
There seems to be a lot of ambiguity about the ambiguity of the word organ here.

20. "Like A Rolling Stone" - Bob Dylan
Al Kooper did a walk-on with this one. It wasn't slated for the session, but after Dylan heard it, he wanted it kept in there. It became the first hit single to clock in at over 6 minutes - and at #1 at that.

This one comes to mind only because Hugh Banton is fucking amazing.

Tomorrow it will probably be Tubular Bells, Thick as a Brick or "Chemical Marriage" by Mr. Bungle. Much of what I listen to from the seventies has an organ in some form going on.

40. There is No Language in Our Lungs - XTC
Edited on Tue Mar-23-10 01:12 PM by gmoney
There is no language in our lungs
to tell the world just how we feel
no bridge of thought
no mental link
no letting out just what you think
there is no language in our lungs

there is no muscle in our tongues
to tell the world what's in our hearts
no we're leaving nothing
just chiselled stones
no chance to speak before we're bones
there is no muscle in our tongues

I thought I had the whole world in my mouth
I thought I could say what I wanted to say
For a second that thought became a sword in my hand
I could slay any problem that would stand in my way
I felt just like a crusader
lionhearted holy land invader
but nobody can say what they really mean to say and
the impotency of speech came up and hit me that day and
I would have made this instrumental
but the words got in the way

there is no language in our...
there is no language in our lungs
to tell the world what's in our hearts
no we're leaving nothing behind
just chiselled stones
no chance to speak before we're bones
there is no language in our lungs
