Man Breaks Girl's Three-Storey Fall

A TWO-year-old girl fell three storeys from a resort walkway and safely into the arms of a man who had been reading a book by the pool.

The momentum sent both crashing into a bush, but the girl suffered only a bump and scratches.

"I just happened to be at the right place at the right time," Alan Burns, 43, said yesterday.

Mr Burns said he was enjoying his stay at a Florida resort when he heard a woman screaming. He looked up to see the toddler hanging from a railing on an outdoor walkway.
