My boss (a 23-year-old VietNam vet) and I LIVED on waffles
and Chef Boyardee spaghetti.

And the 3 or 4 nights a week some of the regulars would take
pity on our helpless batchelorhoodnessosity and invite us to
their sites for dinner.

Many burgers and steaks and one family (originally from
Georgia) who would have us once a week for fried fish, frog
legs and hushpuppies. AND they had a 15-year-old daughter
named Dena.
.
Like I said. A DREAM job for a 15-year-old.

And I could STILL live on nothing but waffles and Chef Boyardee.

Dena wouldn't hurt none, neither.

My plain ones are great though. Just a hint of vanilla, and I use my cast iron skillet as the griddle. I use maple syrup with none of that HFCS crap. And tons of butter, lol.

19. used to love to do this once in awhile

alas since my husband has metabolic syndrome i can't make pancakes any more

i don't like them in the morning (too heavy) but they make a nice (and inexpensive) evening meal once in awhile
