Well, I said I wanted to do something I'll regret for Valentine's Day...
...and by god I did.

Got drunk Saturday nightand woke up Sunday morning at the ex's apartment...but that's the easy part.

The bad part is, even though I had sobered up I stayed in bed with him the whole day.

A girlfriend at work says if you're back in bed with a S.O. less than 2 weeks after the break-up it isn't really a break up.

"I have no intention of getting back together with him," I blurted.

"Tell me you wouldn't **** him again," she replied.

... x( ...

STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

I feel like I have to go out and sleep with soneone else just to break this off once and for all.

:banghead:

1. My dear Nuclear Unicorn...
You know, going to bed with an ex is soooooo easy...

You had fun before, and you were drunk. So, your inhibitions about not being with him were gone, baby, gone...

Don't beat yourself up!

One slip doesn't mean you haven't broken up with him.

And, no, don't go sleep with someone else just to complete this breakup.

Your body is a treasure...don't throw it away...

2. Yeah...
...I'm in the "bargaining" stage of the break-up. I feel like I miss him and want to keep "something" of what we had before because we really did have a lot of good times and he was a good guy.

But at the same time I know I have felt freer since we broke up...more like myself without having to guard my conversations lest either one of us say something to upset the other.

An no, I won't sleep with someone else just because...unless he's really cute.

Thanks for the advice and the hug it genuinely helped.

4. OMG!
My girlfriend/co-worker and I are talking over lunch.

HER: So you're absolutely never ever never going to be with him again?

ME: No. I don't think it would be good for either of us.

HER: Not even for a booty call?

ME: No.

HER: Well, then can I call him?

ME: No!

HER: What do you care, we don't hang out at the same places after work so it's not like we'll bump into each other and have one of those awkward moments.

ME: No, it's just wrong. It's creepy.

HER: I'll **** him tonight. What's his phone number?

ME: (laughing) You're such a ****ing whore.

HER: I'll bet you still have his phone number on your cell, don't you?

And I just stopped and she looked at me. She had been playing me like a fiddle I went right along with it until it hit me.

So there I am crying my eyes out in the middle of Q'Dobas, my friend holding me, while all these people are looking at me like I'm an idiot.

I don't want him with someone else; I want him with me. At least I think I do. It's probably just another post-break-up phase but goddammit I don't want to see him with anyone else (which is funny since I posted on this in another thread today).

5. Someone (I don't remember who) said:
The way to get over a man is to get under another one.

I'm so sorry you're having such a tough time...

11. It could very well have been her...
I have several quotes from her, written down in a (formerly) blank book...

Which is upstairs, and I don't feel like traipsing up there to find out!

She was something else!
