Alabama/Southern snow check in, pls.
Where are you and how much you got?????

90 miles due north of Pensecola in SW Ala. looks like, on the deck railing, about 1 and 1/2 inches,
coming down steadily, but slowly. Very wet snow.
Our house is surrounded by woods, so it is a pretty sight.

Anyone got a current forecast?

2. Thanks, cuz....
I just now got to sit down at the puter..had to feed and etc, the cats, dogs,
. then bundled up and went outside to take pictures of the snowmen that the neighbor kids made
They were sooooo happy, first time snow for them.
While we were out, there was a frequent crack of tree limbs falling.
I would not be surprised to lose power at some point. This stuff is heavy and a lot of evergreens are
bent over.
3 inches on the deck rail a minute ago.
NO traffic on the 2 lane road near us. Quiet as can be outside.
Luckily I filled the bird feeders late last night.

3. Southeastern NC - New Hanover and Brunswick Counties
we're expecting a few inches mainly overnight. Nothing yet. It's just cloudy with the kind of very bright white clouds that kinda tell you somethin' is in the air.

No precipitation yet (it should start later on), but it has gotten noticeably colder.

Being at the coast, it has been known to be difficult to accurately forecast weather around these parts. In other words, I'll believe it when I see it :)

13. My kids built a snowman...
and they appear to be working on some sort of retaining walls and it's still comin' down!

I love the puffy pillow look to everything.

But I fear this means we'll lose power at some point. :(

Ah, snow in Atlanta...

7. Fairhope here
east of Mobile. A little bit in Daphne and Malbis, but none as far south as Fairhope yet. Supposed to be here soon, though.

I saw all the snow in your area on the news.

Your assorted pets, make some hot chocolate and watch a good movie. This might not happen again for a long time. Enjoy!

It has all but stopped in SW Ala.

14. we got about 3 or 4 inches!
went sledding last night and built a snowman, walked in the woods on the trails I run on everyday- it was amazing seeing them covered in snow!

I went out again this morning and it's still powdery soft and thick in most places- Lotta fun! I'd love to get this kind of snow every year. B-)
