Grandma Bonnie was just one totally awesome lady.

There were many people there tonight some very kind and sweet

I am going to miss her greatly.

she was hubbys grandma but she was mine too.

My grandfathers were gone before I was born and my grandmothers were old and cranky and not really the grandmothering kind so hubby's grandmother was the best and I finally understood what it was like to have a true grandparent!

another story we remembered tonight..

One weekend, we went to stay with her and her hubby. We went to church with them on Sunday. There was Grandpa, Grandma Bonnie, hubby then me then hubby's other grandma (who is a mean cruel woman) and grandpa.

(hubbys parents divorced when he was 7 but the in law's still communicated.

They were singing a song I had not heard of before so I didn't sing and his mean grandma looked at me and said "why aren't you singing" and grandma bonnie leaned over and said "leave her alone" right in church during the song. Was the funniest thing.

Growing up in church, I thought I had heard all songs possible, but it was a new one that time and I wanted to learn it so I was listening, Bonnie understood that. Mean granny just always tried to run everyone's business.

1. My dear greenbriar...
She sounds like the kind of grandma we would all like to have...

Blessings on her for her wisdom...

She will live on, in your memory, forever!

2. she will for sure. Thank you for understanding. I definitely have a role model for the future
seeing her lifeless form lying in the casket was the hardest thing ever.

Everyone kept commenting on how good she looked. I didn't think she looked at all like grandma. Oh her body did, but the face did not. The body looked good compared to what we saw Saturday night in the hospital, but it did not look like her.

3. Well, it is over. It was a nice service
but really sad.

Aside from my father's funeral, this was the hardest to get through
