4. No way..
I put believing in ghosts in the same category as believing in a supreme being...it's all just a bunch of BS superstition, used to try and explain things we have yet to understand..

5. Only those I can't kill
I grew up in a 150 y/o house that was used in the Underground
Railroad, with secret rooms in the cellar.

Don't take any crap from spirits, this is our realm, show them who's boss.

7. No. I mean, I don't believe, but I'm not convinced they don't exist. If that makes sense.

19. Weird Occurrence but not a ghost
SO I guess I believe in "something" and it could be a 6th sense..Story:

Had a old college friend coming into town with his fiancee, the wife and I were cleaning up the place a bit. I was out in the yard cutting grass. I guess it was 85 or 90 degrees outside and out of nowhere I get chills and a feeling of "death". I mean I couldn't explain it, but something hit me psychologically and it was really wrong. I shut off the mower, walked in the house to check on the wife and kids and everything was good to go. Went back out and started cutting grass and I be damned if I didn't get the "shivers" and that feeling hit me again, this time it was serious.

I finished cutting the yard and was in the house with the wife. We had planned on having a sitter watch the kids and I explained to her what had happened. She knows me enough to know that when I bring something like this up that she should believe it.

I told her that the feeling was that one of us was going to die, one of my soon arriving guest was going to die, or someone close to us was going to die and that I'd rather just hang out at the house all weekend with the guests and the kids. I knew this was a warning of some sort and I was gonna listen to it. I even made the effort to ring him on his cell to make sure they were ok.

My buddy and his fiancee arrived maybe 1 hour later. We chatted for maybe 30 minutes and his cell phone rang. He walked outside to take the call, came back in all big eyed and whispered to me that his finance's brother had committed suicide.

Far fetched, nah, it was the weirdest experience I ever had in my life, it was "different" than any other emotion or feeling that I ever had in my life. Someone was trying to tell me something and it scared the shit out of me.

I exited the room to let my buddy talk with his fiancee about her brother. I went upstairs to inform my wife, you should have seen the look on her face.

20. I absolutely believe in ghost phenomena, BUT...
I don't think they are the spirits of dead people. More likely it's some sort of bizarre psychological thing that we don't yet understand.

22. No. I think it's your mind creating hallucinations. Which in some cases might be a good

thing, helping you deal with a difficult situation.

26. I do.
I recognize this is irrational and for the most part I try to be rational about my dealings with the world, as hard as that is.

I accept this contradiction.

30. No. It would be super cool if they were real...
...but I have no real reason to think they are. I'm not discounting people's experieinces, I just don't think those experiences imply disembodied spirits of dead people.

31. I agree. I can see them as a real experience in the context
of psychological phenomena. Not everyone experiences reality as I do, for example.
