Why do people post every intimate detail of their personal lives on facebook??
For example

"My GF cheated on me, but I forgave her and we are together again". **

"Fuck best friends/SO's/parents etc." **(Of course everyone want's to know what happened)

"Sorry I didn't make it to that sexaholic meeting. Call me if you want to go to one tomorrow" (More than I needed to know!!)

**(Mutual friends and family members can see this, mind you!)

3. I'm talking about specific details that include others as well. Like,
did the other person want everyone to know he goes to sex addict meetings?

Did the SO who cheated agree to have his/her discretions announced to the entire network of friends and family members?

And then the one who makes mystery comments and everyone has to guess who/what she's talking about.

I could go on.

I may just delete the damn thing.

4. for the sex addict, assuming he wasnt joking, he really might want his friends to know
for the latter, FB makes it easy to be passive aggressive

i dont think the problem is FB per se. I think the problem is that instead of knowing details about your intimate circle of friends ONLY, Fb makes it possible to know more than you really cared to know about your acquaintances.
