Poll question: Who's more fair and balanced?
Keeping in the spirit of things here. FAUX has Colmes, but he's a patsy anyway. DU has some conservative viewpoints. So I say DU is.

3. There are as many conservative viewpoints at DU
There are as many conservative viewpoints at DU as there are WMDs in Iraq.

4. DU is smarter then most of the mainstream media
why does the mainstream media paint Howard Dean as far left? The Progressives ran a progressive candidate in the 2000 Governor Race because they thought he was too far right!!!

6. The evil people in this administration have..
unfortunately moved the perceived center way to the right. And part is propaganda from the corporate media.

7. Add to that: the press is lazy and don't do research on Dean
They brand Dean as a far-left liberal due to his outspoken opposition to the war.

If only we could educate Americans, being antiwar would be the mainstream position.

8. And they also play up the gay marriage thing..
when he supported civil unions instead. And I may agree there. A couple of socially liberal positions can really be played up too much. Fortunately, I think Dean's a good communicator.

9. The thing is, though..
There are a lot of gay people in religion, and I think it's unfair for the churches to think the way they do about marriage. I think change has to come from within the religions.

I'm perfectly straight, but don't see why gays can't have the same legal rights at least.

Ok, we're getting off topic, but I have to go now anyway. :hi:
