Hats are NEVER big enough. I wear them in the winter. I'm female and have lots of hair, but still...

I measured around my head, on top of the thick hair, and came up with 24" in circumference.
That is a 7-5/8ths.

1. Check out the big brain on Manifestor.
Some of us dig that.

As long as you can still hold your head up.

2. Thanks a lot!! Ha ha!!!
And you can call me DOCTOR!!! (I have a paper doctor, a J.D.)

I think the hair adds another quarter to half inch in radius.

Like your handle.

4. Have you been to a hat store?
Stores that just carry a few hats along with other clothes may not have much selection. If you google hats for big-headed women (or men) you'll see quite a few. here's one page-
http://www.villagehatshop.com/vhs_womens_felt.html
Mine is a measly 23 1/2, my DH's 24 and our son's is 24 3/4. When he was born the doctor said his head was very large, and I said "Abnormally large?" She said, "Almost, but no, not abnormal."

5. Try Duluth Trading Company for outdoor or work hats
They carry up to 2XL hats = 7-3/4 to 7-7/8 sizes for men.

Most places don't realize women can have heads as big but even Duluth's women's hats go to XL = 7-1/2 to 7-5/8.
http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/clothes-workwear/womens/hats-and-caps-for-women/hats-and-caps-for-women.aspx

My brother-in-law has a big head and this is the only place he will buy hats from. A few years ago he gave Mr. csziggy a cap from Duluth and it is a great hat. I need to order me either one of their MN Superior caps with ear flaps or a few of these:

&width=312&height=312

Mr. csziggy wears a 7-3/4; I wear a 7-5/8, so I know what you mean!

The other problem I have is gloves. My palms are as wide as Mr. Csziggy's even though he is a foot taller than I am, but my fingers are a half inch shorter. It is pretty much impossible for me to find gloves that fit. I have not been able to wear women's gloves since I was about ten - and I am old enough that girls were expected to wear gloves to church, for Easter if for no other service. "One size fits all" is a complete joke when it comes to gloves!

7. Wow, gloves, I would never have suspected.
I'm not a big lady. I'm five foot three and have small bones and small hands. That's why I wonder why my head is so big.

Oh well, my ribs and shoulders are pretty big too. That means I can sing with the volume set on BLAST. :D

8. I'm five foot three, but have big bones - big hands and feet, as well as a big head
(In more ways than one, LOL.)

I envy you the ability to sing! I can yell, but I cannot carry a tune and have no staying power.

6. 7 7/8ths here
I've got a shaved head, so I've basically got a huge melon head.
