NOT cross stitch, though I can do that, but hate to. I do needlepoint, Japanese embroidery, blackwork, and other techniques. They are dying arts these days but the people who still do this work are a dedicated bunch.

By the time those poseur "underground" subcultures catch on to me, I've usually moved on. In other words, I am so hip/unhip that I'm either 5-10 years too early or 10-15 years too late for most trends. Not sure if that makes me more hip or less, and I don't care.
