Former Cypress Gardens to become Legoland

Probably nobody here cares, but it is a little sad to see a part of American entertainment history be lost. Merlin Entertainment bought the former Cypress and plans to build the world's largest Legoland park there, to open by the end of 2011.

1. aw, heck, nothing stays the same, does it.
I recently found our old photos taken there. The water skiing was pretty good and the roses were gorgeous....hope they keep some of them.

2. My folks went to Cypress Gardens on their honeymoon
back in December 1947, from Michigan.

They had a wonderful time. They talked about it sometimes, full of winks and secret smiles.
