4. Good God - I have loved every moment of this show
This has to be one of my most favorite, ever, of the KCH shows - I don't know how much better it could get.

The Brubeck honors were terrific - what a great man he is and at 89, I'm in awe.

I'm just a big ole Bruce fan, so this is the treat of my holiday season.

Enjoy folks!

5. This is the first time I watched the whole show....
I loved it...

I saw Bruce back in 1975, third row in an old downtown theater in Cleveland.

Cleveland fell in love with everything Bruce Springsteen related when The Wild the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle came out...

I graduated in 1975 and pushed hard for Born to Run to be the class song...

The do-gooders wanted the mawky We Shall Never Pass This Way Again...

6. 3rd row--WOW--Allen Theater by any chance?
just looked up the list of '75 gigs in Dave Marsh's Born to Run... Aug 10th , unless you saw a Feb. show at John Carroll University. If it was the August show, that was the very last show he did before the legendary Bottom Line shows in New York. I saw the E Street Band for the first time a few weeks later at the Auditorium theater in Chicago. Saw them most recently in Denver this April and they STILL GOT IT. This was great tonight too...

7. It was the Allen...
I just saw Neko Case there in almost the same spot a few months ago...

My mom got the tickets from a girl in her sewing class, Mom was a Home Ec teacher...

She came home and said I got two tickets for that Jewish guy you like...

I had no idea who she was talking about...

The show was sold out in like 45 minutes.

The place is a palace now, almost fully restored. Back then it was teetering on being condemned.
