JUST got back online after the worm ate thru my PC....cost 118 bucks to fix it ...lost every file, lost every favorite, have to start all over...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

1. Did you do a full systems recovery

or did the worm cause the loss of everything? BTW, I feel for you. This worm is awful.:-(

It's a nuisance virus, but it's fairly easy for most techs to get rid of it without any data loss whatsoever.

4. again, is there any doubt that microsoft is a monopoly, more thoroghly

enabled by the GW admin? Example: Dell and Microsoft are "awarded"(NO BIDDING) the contract for millions for the new fatherland "security" agency, an operating system built with bloatware, inefficient, and with so many verifiable and replicatible security holes, this, for a "security" agency. Also, Mac OS is so much less open to viruses, and built upon UNIX, the most stable operating system in the world. Let me repeat, the most stable operating system in the world. The phone company has been using it for YEARS for their switching operations. There is no good reason not to use Mac. Support the republican party, buy Microsoft! They are heavy contributers. I would advise everyone to consider switching.
