7. That CD was a letdown, and made me glad they called it a day.
I thought Rio Grande Blood was excellent, but The Last Sucker had a lot of filler tracks (imo, anyways). It doesn't help to see Al whoring himself out for any buck he can make now, be it through lame ass cover song CDs, Ministry Guitar Hero or the endless shilling of RevCo (who at this point should also call it a day). It's too bad because they were one of my favorite bands since The Land of Rape and Honey. But Al got clean from the heroin, realized he could slap some samples and a riff together and people would buy it. I'd advise him to take up the heroin again (I actually like The Dark Side of the Spoon and Filth Pig, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, as I'm pretty much the only one who liked those CDs.)

8. Grain of salt or not, I'm pretty much in agreement on the whole thing.
Unfortunately, getting clean and running out of musical steam do tend to go together more often than not.

10. 20 minutes away.
Thought about going but tickets were like $35 bucks, and I don't pay that much to see anyone, both out of principle and a lack of $35. :)

11. I don't think you can see too many shows cheaply anymore.
I pretty much stopped going. There is never anybody i want to see and the last few times i went i couldn't wait for the show to end so i could get home. I think i am getting too old.

I live about an hour from worcester next to mohegan sun in CT right off of I-395...

12. Depends on the bands/artists you like.
I saw Sir Richard Bishop (Sun City Girls) at the Middle East Club for $8 in June (and I got to speak with him at length). Everything I like is pretty obscure so low prices are common. No one is going to pay a ton of money to see bands like Agoraphobic Nosebleed, who have a CD of remixes with all the song titles ending in the words "rectal anarchy". :)
