(with an object, not another car).

iirc, the mechanism that sets off the airbag works thru inertia, and the car pretty much has to be in motion for it to fire. :shrug:

has mythbusters touched on it yet? (in happened in the last 'die hard' movie when Mac hit the front of a parked car with a garbage can to set off the airbags so that he and bruce willis could steal it.
