Ack! You know the feeling when you get water in your ear?
I feel like that right now sitting at my desk. It's crackling
something fierce and driving me nuts! I just want to take a pin
and poke my eardrum. Argh!!!!!

1. My aunt always used to tell me to turn my head sideways
(parallel to the ground) and smack myself on the temple until it ran out. Now, I don't have that "water in the ears" problem any more...thanks to the brain damage.

:P

3. LOL!

I wound up taking a tylenol sinus pill and it must have dried
up the fluid. Unless I mess with my ear, the crackling has gone
away. Of course, I can't stop messing with my ear.

2. Got it right now...used some stuff to get wax out and then you flush with
water...and there's still a little in there...irritating to say the least.

Every time I wash my hair I get water in my ears. I have even tried ear plugs or cotton balls. Nothing works. It is usually just my left ear.

12. Alas, it didn't work for this
But thanks for the tip. When I do get water in my
ear, I'll definitely try that. :hi:

14. I started having that problem again today
I took your suggestion - I had to do it 3 or 4 times - but it
actually helped. Thank you!

6. a few drops of rubbing alcohol in your ear...
will dry it up because it helps it to evaporate very quickly.

13. Works every time.
I swim at least once a week, and often wind up with water in one or both ears. That's how I get rid of it.

7. It may be a hair.
Same sensation.
Try a Q-tip.
Gently.

11. I think it's just ear fluid
I'm really congested and I guess some got behind my eardrum.
