Anyone watching the Hall of Fame Concert on HBO....

Damn they are doing this real tight and leaving the people wanting more...

It reminds me of sitting in a movie theater in 1964-65 watching these concert movie where they crammed fifteen twenty performers into an hour and a half reel of celiloid...

Mess of groups of all stripes...

This was way before Music videos and it was really one of the few ways we got to see our favorite bands.

We were way too young to go to concerts so this had to do.

The only other place to see these heroes was on Ed Sullivan. There were local TV shows but they started in 66 or so...

So it was off to the movies to get our dose of "live" Rock-n-Roll.



Right now Crosby, Nash and Paul Simon are play Here Comes the Sun...

Mrs. WCGreen started to cry.

Stevie Wonder played a Michael Jackson song and choked up half way through...

This is the best concert ever. I'm a 70's child but I'm diggin on Metallica, my son was into this and I remember all the songs. On top of that, Simon and Garfinkle, Aretha, etc. I wrote HBO and thanked them and told them I will buy the album as soon as it is released. Can you believe the voices on the old rockers like David Crosby and BB King???? I saw many of them in person in their prime and they haven't lost much. This is heaven!
