Anyone take advantage of the Black Friday deals?

I got a Nikon D3000 DSLR camera, 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens, and a carry bag for $600 from Best Buy. Usually that'll all cost over $800. It's my early Christmas present, lol. As soon as Facebook starts working again, I'll load up all the pictures I've taken today and post them here. I've taken some real beauties, I love this camera!


What about you, did any of you take advantage of the deals?

1. Nope. Saving up to get some repairwork done on my car...

I'm going to be a real pisser until I get those scratches removed. x(

People will tell me I need to get laid... of course, they won't lay any of the groundwork, but I am used to that...

3. No, somebody scratched it. By accident, as it's two light scratches...

Albeit 8" long each...

Could be worse, but in the right light it drives me up the freakin' wall.

With the current fads of texting and sexting and using 14 cell phones all at once because people have developed the patience levels accorded hyperactive, crack-addicted hedgehogs, I might wait for the first crash and then have it all done... and why people think humans have "evolved" that they need so many things done at once, combined with television that can't be bothered to pace its own plotting properly... no, it's people being sloppy. But I digress. And, according to some people, need to get laid...

New car, too - not even 6 months old.

I shouldn't be as angry as I am...

4. We got a great deal - we had our Thanksgiving meal Friday, stayed home,

slept a lot.

We got our big present Wednesday - bought a new king size bed and a reclining chair that were delivered Wednesday PM.

5. Sort of

Costco had a weekend's worth of sales - you didn't have to be there at 4:00-ungodly-o'clock in the morning, and they had palettes of the stuff, not just a few token door busters.

I bought a 32" Samsung TV (LN32B540) for $380 yesterday and they still had a fair number of them in stock. Now the 42" behemoth can be moved downstairs.
