10 years ago I would go out in 58 degrees weather in shorts and a T-shirt
now I am wearing a light jacket , and still wishing I had wore something heavier.

That surely is one of the signs of approaching the hill , if not being over the hill yet. depressing.

1. You made me think of my son...
His older brother would roll his eyes and say..."It's cool to be cold!"
You'll be okay....My son gets cold now, too.

I grow old...I grow old...I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled...

peace~

7. 58 feels warmer in the spring than fall
It is so nice going up but not as nice going down.

8. Depends. When I'm visiting up north I can be in short sleeves with snow on ground
And there's nothing quite like stepping outside on a morning after a fresh snow, taking a deep breath and smelly nothing but pure, cold air.

But here in the Southeast (GA/SC) even the mid-fifties feels really cold. I think it has somethig to do with it still being so humid. It's a dank, chilling-to-the-bone, crypt like cold here. It really doesn't even help much to put on a sweater or coat. Yje cold seeps through your pores to the marrow of your bones.
