as a pop artist, and i mean POP artist, i always thought she was pretty good, but... i just watched her unplugged performance and i just have to say WOW.

astonishingly good.

i was very pleasantly surprised at the strength of her vocals, as well as her artistry

again, just wow.

and this is from a guy who grew up loving the ramones, social distortion, the jam, etc.

pop or not. she's awesome

i'll check her out. fwiw, i like perry's sense of humor. pop artists that take themselves too seriously can annoy the #A$(#$( out of me. she doesn't. it was quite refreshing.
