1. My dear Amerigo Vespucci!
I'm not sure I remember the name...The Last Samurai?

I think that's it.

And the Japanese star who played alongside him.....both outstanding!

12. Peg you must be refering to Ken Watanabe
Edited on Fri Nov-27-09 10:29 PM by AsahinaKimi
Ken Watanabe

He is a wonderful actor. There was a wonderful Edo era TV show in Japan where he played the part of this
Assassin for Tokugawa Shogunate which was very interesting. They simply had the evidence on some of the bad
men who were taking advantage of people and though the assassin made them disappear quietly. I have the series on dvd. He also appeared in Memoirs of a Geisha, Batman Begins and my favorite; Letters from Iwo Jima.

8. I wanted to BE Clint, or at least the Clint from "Play Misty For Me"
Cool DJ, with that L-O-W voice...

...everything except the crazed, obsessed fan part. That part I can do without.

But Clint's a hero to me.

Cruise, on the other hand, did his underpants dance and then fell of the deep end.

My assessment of the life and career of Tom Cruise in 25 words or less.

Edited on Mon Nov-30-09 11:14 AM by tigereye
performances are too flat. Good actors are able to make you forget their actual persona. I just saw The Blind Side, and Sandra Bullock was so good that I forgot it was her.

31. He's been good in these films.
Risky Business
The Color Of Money
Born On The Fourth Of July
A Few Good Men
Jerry Maguire
Eyes Wide Shut
Minority Report
The Last Samurai
War Of The Worlds

Don't care for his antics off-screen, but when he's on film he usually delivers.

33. Whatever one has him filmed being beaten to death on the set
and the director just says, "Well, can't finish that one- let's put together what we got and then end it with Tom being beaten to death; it'll be a kind of surreal bizarre surprise ending like in Python's Holy Grail. And there will be much rejoicing. Ding dong, the Tom is dead!"
