I bought my sister a leopard print Snuggie for Xmas today.
For the record, I was stone cold sober.

Proof positive that I have neither taste or class.

1. You know, when I was a kid "snuggie" had an entirely different meaning than it does now
and I don't know of anyone who wanted one as a gift.

2. We called those Grundees when I was a kid.
Wonder how they got the name Grundee?

5. A "snuggie" was what most people know as a "wedgie" today.
Regionalisms, neighborhoodisms.

I grew up on the south side here in La Crosse, WI and we hung out at Hood Park although there was no way we were "hoods". As teens we had a term for those girls we thought we good looking chicks: "snapper". We would cruise around in a car and if we saw one somebody would roll down the window and shout "Snaaapppper!".

7. I saw a commerical for the new hot item, it looked like a sleeping bag.
Move over snuggie.

10. What does the back of it look like?
My partner sheepishly told me he wanted one but we both wonder what the back of it is like? Is it like a hospital gown? If it is, wouldn't your backside get cold at first?

You would think there would be a rash of incidents where old people have gotten tangled up in it's extra length causing them to fall.

12. It's open in the back, like a blanket.
End of Line.

11. I have to get one of those for my Mom, because
a) she's always cold and b) she loves leopard print stuff. So the leopard print snuggie is perfect for her.
