I've had long hair my entire adult life...sometimes down to my ass. I can count on two hands the number of haircuts I've had since I was 19 years old...today I said fuck it and got it all chopped off.

that's shaved off. I've tried to convince HerrHerr to do the same for several years cuz just getting it over with and shaving that shit off looks much better than having a few whispery tufts flying in the wind. He won't listen to me though. Maybe I'll show him your fine fuzzy head :)

I got over a foot of hair chopped off. They were all laughing at me in German and shit and making a big deal about wigs for the needy.

Perhaps HerrHerr could use your wig? ;)

Just tell him, that the maintenance of a shaved head will give him more time to play with the XBox. His shower time will be cut in half.

Few years ago I just got tired of spending at least two hours a day taking care of my very long hair (we're talking seriously long, I could sit on it). I had it cut very short, kind of Princess Di style. That evening we were at a gathering that included some folks I've known for decades. Afterwards, one of the men approached me and said that I looked different; then he asked if I'd gotten new glasses. His wife smacked him on the arm and said, "She cut her hair, idiot!"

Anyway, it took some getting used to but I've kept it shorter ever since.
