1. So THAT'S where Dallas drivers get them from!
Every Damn Time I go to Dallas the same fucking shit happens: I'll be cruising down I-30 in the lane one to the left of the outside lane, with a small, quick-accelerating car maybe a quarter-mile back, and I'll need to get into the outside lane so I can get off the interstate. (I stay out of the outside lane so the people trying to get on the freeway won't have to fight me to get in.) I flip the turn signal on and sure as anything, the guy a quarter-mile back will drop into the outside lane and pass me on the right.

I have made a command decision: If I win the lottery, I'm going to the biggest billboard company in Texas and buy, for a full year, twelve of the most prominently placed digital billboards. The message I'm going to put up is, "If You Cause The Wreck, You Don't Get Money." There are about a million ambulance chasers in D/FW who have boards up: "Truck Wreck? 1-800-Cha-Ching!" So, obviously, people have started TRYING to cause wrecks.

4. About a week ago
It's bad, but not as bad as Dallas.

Now, this is REALLY fucked up: I went to Port Newark, NJ, a week and a half ago, and it was EASIER to drive in Port Newark than it is to drive in Dallas.

5. I think those of us that are relatively good drivers
should drive cars like this, mostly for the intimidation factor:

Your situations could also just be a terminal case of "I GOTTA be in front!!!1!1!!!" ;)
Almost every time I put on my signal in Houston, people speed up, not to run into me, but to keep me from getting in front of them :eyes:

6. I remember when we had to save up box tops for 'em
And wait four to six weeks for the envelope from Battle Creek, Michigan to arrive.
