Took the bike out for a killer ride along the Embarcadero, over the GG bridge to Sausalito and Mill Valley, and kick-started the endorphins. The sky was marble blue, the breeze fluttered like an airy massage, the sun felt like warm honey on my bare arms. As far as I'm concerned, it can stay this way until New Years.

And for those who think Thanksgiving should be cold, crisp and even possibly ***gasp*** SNOWING :wow: I say, fine! Stay in your seasonal geography, I'll take Mr Sunny Face every day of the year.

4. Well, I'm sure the natives weren't very warm to you when you called it "Frisco"!
Ah, well. To each their own.

10. say it ain't so!
I love San Francisco! The bay, the people, the boats, the bridges, the ferries, the funky shops, museums, the politics, the weather. The hills! What more could you ask.

Sigh. We would move there tomorrow if we knew we could make enough cash to afford it...

18. but they are!

 I dunno, it's a place I've always wanted to visit and live, and I felt so at home there when I finally went. When I stood in front of City Lights books, it was like I had finally come home, or something. Plus I'm a huge fan of the Beats, so I was doubly thrilled.

And we hate your (awesomely winning-est) Dodgers as well! Meh.

But the best weather in the country goes to San Diego. I'd be running half-marathons every 2 weeks if I lived there. Too bad there's so much racism and Republicon philosophy going around and ruining it!

8. 65. That's freezing. I used to live there and freeze my butt off all
the time too. Now I live in SoCal and only freeze in the winter. Summer is nice and warm.

14. Best weather in the country? I've been where it's better
For her last two years of high school, my younger daughter ended up at a school near Kona, Hawai'i. Her school was up the mountain in Waimea, but when we visited her, my wife and I stayed down on the coast in Waikoloa. The reception and lobby of the hotel didn't even have walls to the outside!! Now THAT'S weather!!

Of course, being stuck here in Central Europe, the difference is especially strong in our memories. But on the other hand, we have a 1000 year old castle in our back yard, so there!!

15. I'm in NH and I still have moths circling my outdoor porch light.
If you know anything about NH, that's the freakiest thing ever. Unusually warm November.
