Do you know what your cats do when you aren't home?
I just found out...I was let out of work early. And my cats know about what time I get home. (Heck last night while I was standing outside my front door looking at mail, one of them was meowing at me through the door to come in and feed them!)
I walked in and found them both sleeping on the bed...Smokie on top of the comforter...Sophie UNDER the comforter except for her little head poking out..It was soooo cute! They will sleep on the bed with me at night but during the day usually they sleep elsewhere...:)

2. Sleep
Basically, that's what you found out too. We tucker them out so much when we're there that they just sleep the rest of the time.

18. My cats are in a gang.
They call themselves The Badwhiskers, and poop on our neighbors' lawns. They have weekly meetings in our carport.

5. I'm trying to figure out how to get the kitty to stop hanging out on the dining room table.
It's kind of gross, she doesn't wipe very well.

19. Throw a machine washable, cheap plastic table cloth over it.
At least it makes it less gross to clean up. There's also a chance that she won't like the way it feels and will find a new place to hang out.

8. I'm home most of the day, being self-employed and all
and when I come home from shopping or activities, my four-footed fur-faced is either at the door, waiting, or else there's a slight delay, I hear a thud from the bedroom, and he trots out yawning. I find small objects on the floor that shouldn't be there (a watch, my keys), so I suspect that he considers any small object within his reach to be a potential cat toy.

While I am home, he alternately sleeps and pesters me to stay on schedule for waking up, grooming, feeding, going to bed.

10. Tivo "Hannah Montana" just to piss me off.
Well, I don't have any cats. Don't even have a cable box. But if I had cats, I'm certain that they'd piss me off by Tivo'ing "Hanna Montana". Grrr.

11. They are stealing my socks.
Edited on Wed Nov-25-09 04:41 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
They -- actually, just one of them (AND I KNOW IT'S YOU, JEOFFRY!) -- pries open the dresser drawer where I keep my socks and throws all of them on the floor as he searches for the fuzzy ones he likes, and which he carries around and leaves all over the house.

I think they also TiVo episodes of Animal Planet and day-trade on the Internet.

23. Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.
I'm fairly certain that they control a distribution system for the chemical derivates of certain plant alkaloids for most of North America, and control three off-shore banks in the Netherland Antilles, Bahrain, and The Isle of Wight.

But, I get paid to look the other way, and keep the litter box clean.
