Handmade XMas - 1 gift out of the way

Saw the idea on Gizmodo:

I hollowed out my bulb, drilled holes in the neck, added some potting soil and some Forget-me-not seeds, bent a large paper clip in a rectangle with little hooks to go in the holes and voila! a hanging planter!

I'll make a few more and then I gotta come up with some other ideas that are cheap and don't involve cooking/baking.
