Even if you don't make it common knowledge that you were right and the boss wrong, I hope it wasn't widely known that you 2 disagreed. That would be bad. Especially since you had the bad form to be correct. You'll be forever branded as a "troublemaker".

5. It's going to be my little secret.
I wrote the initial proposal. He said to take something out.

We submitted it to the funder, and she said to put it in.

He makes so many changes to things that he'll probably never even know.
