Why I am such a techno dolt?
Edited on Mon Nov-23-09 01:08 PM by Liberalynn
Okay, so I finally got up the courage to download Overdrive to my P.C. so I could download audio books to my Zune. The Public Library System offers some titles free for a period of two weeks.

Instead of reading the frequently asked questions about how you "return" the title when you were finished listening to it, I just assumed (and yes that makes an ass out of me) that it was like when you wanted to remove songs from your Zune. That you just delete the file from your P.C. and then resync your Zune.

Well it obviously doesn't work that way. Its still on my Zune and apparently there is no way to "return titles early", I read the FAQ after I'd all ready screwed up. The file just expires after the lending period but since the file is no longer on my P.C.(not even in recycle bin), I am worried that it will effect wether it remains on my Zune. I don't want to violate any copyright issues or have something on my Zune that I am done with taking up memory either.

I e-mailed the library about it so hopefully they can answer me. I just hope I didn't screw up in a way that can't be fixed.

Teach me to think I know everything without reading the instructions first.

I feel really stupid now.
