3. I responded to another post about tonight's episode already but

the brilliance of this show can not be overstated. IMHO tonight's show was without question one of the best hours of television I've ever seen. The writing, acting, and intensity were pure genius.

John Lithgow is really showing how great an actor he is... The show is simply amazing this year.

I'd like to shake hands with the writer(s) of that show. So incredible! I never saw that "hi dad" coming--never saw it! Wow! Can't wait to see how this plays out.

And Trinity's home life--whoa! Look like the perfect family from the outside--and the guy is pretty much terrorizing is family. Now Dexter is really having to rethink Trinity as a 'role model.'

I saw the "hi dad" coming a few minutes before it happened but would've never guessed it earlier in the season. It's great to see this secondary character being turned into a major part of the plot. I can't wait to see more regarding her relationship with her dad/Trinity.

then she turns out to likely be a key figure. Wow!

9. I was really not liking this season ...

and suddenly it turned corners, shifted gears, and stepped on the gas. Wow, what a ride!

Great ending in last night's episode.
