During a text chat. He alluded to his girlfriend hurting her back on her bed. "I mean when we were on her bed," he wrote.

I replied "WHAT? Did you . . ."

My nephew and I are close and have talked about sex several times. He's itchin'.

But he wrote back "No! It was a joke!"

He got me. And I felt like an idiot.

Parents or those of age to have late-teen children: Have your kids or other young friends ever said to you the equivalent of, "Well, I did it . . . "

I'm in a weird area and I don't know if I should even ask about his girlfriend again - I mean, just to ask how she is. :scared:

1. I had a conversation with my 16 year old

niece last night and she told me a hair raising story involving being at a party at 14, drinking copious amounts of Olde English 800 and a 15 minute "interlude" in a bathroom with a boy. I'm gutted. I told her "NEVER DRINK WITH BOYS AGAIN."

I was there when she was born for fuck's sake and I gotta learn this shit about her? I'd never make it as a mother.
