can't let go of shoes with so many memories. My flannels from those days I wore till they fell off my body. Now I have an awesome new one, so comfy I never want to wash it. (Don't worry I will, but then how would you know, we are on line )

12. I think its a revolution...
back to a simpler time. Music was good, pot was cheap, and you didn't know that there was a difference between bud light and sam adams cause you took whatever you could get.

You got your sleep in school, listened to music all night and got busted stealing a smoke by the school cops.

29. I'm kinda jealous.
My flannel shirts don't get used much, because I'm in Florida. There's maybe four weeks a year (and not even consecutive from day to day) where it gets into that 55-65 degree range where you can just wear flannel over a T-shirt.

31. ok
1. I like the blonde, feels more me.....my actual color ( dark brown) is underneath, I also have some purple in there. Brown to me is boring and shows my two grey hairs

2. No I don't take proper pics. I like strange views, I find them more interesting and I like interesting. My sis is the photographer, not me.

3. Anyone can wear flannels, of course. But I haven't worn one since high school. So wearing one now makes me feel like I am 15.

thank you for the brunette compliment, I think, I just like having fun with my hair.

you think too much.......thats what my sis said to me, and I'm saying it to you, finally knowing what she means.

39. and what's Nirvana got to do with flannel shirts?
I was wearing flannel from the time I was 8 - and I was in college by the time Nirvana came around.

They didn't have anything whatsoever to do with me wearing flannel - which I still do on a regular basis.

I didn't make the rules

I started wearing flannel around the time I heard Nirvana.....screw you establishment who wants me to look pretty.

Of course anyone can wear flannel and should

But it is also associated with the grunge movement

41. I know flannel is associated with grunge
Just that for me, the "grunge" movement is (and was at the time) pretty unimportant.

I wore flannel because I like it and it's comfortable, not because it was cool. That's still true.

48. Whoa! Let's get this straight.
You bought a flannel shirt and it's some sort of novelty to you? Good grief! I have been wearing flannel shirts since around junior high school and will continue to wear them until I die. Flannel is great, especially for those of us who live in the upper Midwest and work outside.
