I'm in trouble. Can this be? At my age, (67) I don't see how. BUT...
It feels like I am getting at least one wisdom tooth. The roof of my mouth on the inside near the upper molars has been sore for two or three days. I actually thought I was getting a sore throat. Today, one side is particularly sore so I decided to try and take a look. Can't see the upper rear but if I rub my finger along that area, it feels like a tooth just under the skin. Gives me a very sharp pain if I touch the area. How can this be?

Maybe it will just go away and leave me to spend my holiday in peace. Somehow I think I'm in trouble.
I think a call tomorrow to the dentist is in order. Like I have nothing else to do.

Anyone have this happen?

1. It is actually a small gnome or newt that has been living in your brain.
They're known to do that.

4. That was my first thought . No wonder I've been so dumb these past years.
My brain space was taken up by foreign beings.

5. You only have to worry if it is the gnomes.
The gnomes have a GREAT recipe for tapioca made with brain matter. Newts don't cook.

2. My dear Paper Roses...
Well, if they never came in, and you never had them removed.....

Sounds like you're getting your wisdom teeth!

Yup, I'd call my dentist, for sure...

Good luck!

3. Please go to the dentist before the holidays.

There are other possibilities, including infection (in my experience).

BTW, I'm 67 and tell the kids and grandkids all the time how much wisdom goes with the age. :hi:
