4. Wow! That is impressive.
Even the street light looks old. I'm guessing Ohio or Michigan?

8. There is some overlapping and inbreeding
But I think Beaux-Arts is separate.

12. It's all you.
If you are a purist, I wouldn't. But screw it, at the link the guy talks about how in the 60s people were painting Victorians all sorts of bright colors, it's not pure to the architecture but he speculated the "Victorians" wouldn't mind. ;-)

13. Well, this is one of those Queen Annes that
has the judge's paneling in the dining room up to a height of about (I'm guessing) 8 feet; and then the rest is just plain wall up to the 12 ft. ceiling. I want to put one of the Bradbury & Bradbury freizes in the intervening space. I figured it wouldn't look too out of place because of the judge's paneling in the dark wood color. Of course, Bradbury also has period correct paper for the rest of the house, so I thought a bit of mixing wouldn't kill it..they mix it anyway in one of the pics (the border is from an earlier period collection)

http://www.bradbury.com/lion_dove.html (first smaller pic to the right)

ANYway, I know you didn't want to get into an advice conversation, but just wanted you to know I was trying to sorta stay in tune with the period but have some interesting effects. I don't like the overdone flowery look either; I'll probably keep it simpler throughout the rest of the house (just use a small border in each room, complmentary paint colors; etc.)

16. Tudor. I would like to vote for Tudor, even if it's the wrong era.
I like Tudor. But you have some very nice examples there. But again, the Texas courthouse takes the cake.
