9. 3-7 right now and down 17-14 to the winless Lobos.

I've never seen an implosion like that (though I guess Michigan gives 'em a run for their money...they started 4-0 and were ranked at one point and now finished the season 5-7).

7. Buffs, I'm afraid.

We still have the hope of ending on a high note and beating the Cornfuskers at home next Friday, but beyond that it seems pretty bleak for us the next couple of years. Dan Hawkins wasn't the brains behind Boise State's success - not by a long shot.
