Cats are like little Vulcans and Dogs are like Klingons
I have had cats for the past 14 yrs. I had dogs when I was around 5 or 6 but my dad was oldschool and kept them outside all the time. I recently have taken in a very spirited and brazen puppy and have learned that they are a lot different from cats.

Cats possess a reserved gracefulness and serene aura about them. They are also very curious and intelligent creatures by nature much like Vulcans.

Dogs on the other hand will only respect you if you are the Alpha warrior. They love to be loud , wrestle and get dirty! Yesterday at the dog park watching the dogs wrestle in the mud and try to vie for top dog,it kind of reminded me of the Klingons in DS9 sparing and singing loudly. Dogs are also very loyal and brave much like the Klingons

1. Cats have more in common with the Ferengi.
Ruthless, conniving, sneaky, aggressive when it suits their needs, always looking to play all the angles, loyal to nothing except themselves, willing to put everything you own on the line if they can profit from it, always looking for a 'free lunch', never take the blame for any of their actions, play innocent when accused of wrongdoing, and would sell you out in a hot second if they could derive some benefit from doing so.

Other than that, cats are paragons of virtue.

2. Well I have one vulcan cat and one romulan cat
One is graceful wise and serene and the other now that i think of it is cunning and probably plotting something. The pup though is straight up Klingon, loud full of energy likes to wrestle and has some pretty vivid smells about her not to mention loyal.

3. I guess dogs are like Klingons, but they're less like Worf & more like Martok.
But cats are like Romulans

9. upon further reflection I have come to the conclusion that one of my cats is a Romulan
she is very cunning and always plotting. The other one certainly is a Vulcan and mildly tolerates living with a boorish Klingon K9. My pup is more of a Martok than a Worf for sure
