I just saw THE stupidest car ad, that I've ever seen.
And I remember car ads from the 60's.

I love Mini Coopers.
My sister drives one, and I love it.

Ok...the ad.

14 seconds of guy on his couch watching TV.
Mini Cooper crashes through his living room.

:wtf:

3. SNL did a fake ad for the "Giant Bow Superstore"
or something like that, but yes, where you buy the giant bow to put on the car you give your wife/daughter. I believe it was a Phil Hartman one... hard to believe he's been gone 11 years already.

But don't you get it? BMWs are not for "average" people anyway. If you can afford one, chances are you can afford to give a few away each Christmas. Logarithmic scale of wealth disparity and all that.

there is one car dealer here who has his 20-something daughter all tarted up like a cheap stuck up little Oklahoma Barbie doll doing all the talking now. "Dad'll Do It!" She's annoying as hell and I see scandal in her future. :eyes:

She's dressed pretty conservatively in this ad, but it ain't always been so.
