iPod question
Is there a program that will remove dupes from your iPod?

1. Can't you manually delete 20 songs?
Or do you just want to show off how impressively large your music collection is?

3. To tell you the truth
I lost all the music on it when I reset it. I reimported the music from a couple of different backups sources. In truth, I have about 16,000 songs on it. Not trying to impress anyone, but I have a ton of music.

2. If there is I haven't found it either. I did see something that looked promising once
but it didn't do what I thought it was going to.

4. Put it in the microwave and set it for 20 minutes on full power.
That will take care of any dupes.

10. Trust me - that will work.
I'm a doctor. Not really, but it is a great pickup line.

5. Why not go in iTunes and select File-Show Duplicates. Then you can
look at the duplicates and decide what you want to get rid of.

8. Make sure you have iTunes selected and not the iPod itself. You can search duplicates on the
computer that has the music, but not actual ipod,so you clean up the computer and then sync the ipod to clean the ipod.

11. Won't work
Because I imported the music from multiple sources. From two different folders from my external hard drive and my music folder on my internal hard drive.

12. I used MusicRescue to copy music from my iPod
back to my Mac after a catastrophic iTunes upgrade, and I'm pretty sure it has a "find duplicates" function somewhere in there.
