3. Greece on Turkey Day? Sounds like trouble.
Better stay away from the Cyprus trees.

6. I'm escaping the relatives for a week, I'll be on hajj to vegan mecca (aka Portland).
This will be my second Thanksgiving in a row without my extended family (my kid goes with me) and their drama and I intend to make it a habit.

8. We will be eating olives and doing Uzo shots... no doubt my tweens will roll their eyes
We get a full 10 days off because T-giving coincides with Eid this year.

We have cheap budget air carriers, so it only costs about $200 each to fly there. Hotels and such are relatively cheap there compared to the rest of the Euro zone.

10. Just sitting here and being jealous of you.
I always wanted to go to Greece. I'm staying home and hanging out with my cats, after doing the "Turkey Ride" spinning class at my gym in the morning.

11. So, you're going to Greece?
"And swim the English channel?" :P

(I shouldn't have to explain it, but I suspect I will have to, anyway ;))
