I feel that way about Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."

1. I liked In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida when I first heard it many decades ago. My friends and I
all got over it after religiously listening to the song every day for several months

2. It usually depends on how long ago I heard it.
Edited on Thu Nov-19-09 07:21 AM by hippywife
I stopped listening to commercial radio years ago, so if I hear a song that I haven't heard in decades, especially without a loud DJ bloviating all over the air unnecessarily with the same songs in an unending loop, I can usually enjoy it both musically and for the memories interwoven into it.

3. Gary Wright: "Dream Weaver"
I can't believe that as a teenager I didn't realize what a terrible singer he was.

6. There was one song I really liked
It was the Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up", but now it just makes me feel bad everytime I hear it.

7. Pretty much anytthing by the Eagles or the Busckingham-Nicks edition of Fleetwood Mac
No matter HOW "good" that stuff might have been coming out of the chute, it's among the most overplayed music in the history of rock and roll.

8. For some reason I liked the Kinks song "Destroyer"
I recently heard it after years and years and scratched my head.

However, in my defense, I was a teenager at the time it came out.

9. Anything by Sammy Hagar or the Eagles
They both make me cringe today.

10. I don't think I've ever un-loved a song that I originally loved.
I've come to like some songs that originally did nothing for me, but never the other way around.
