has Top Chef EVER been done before December??

Top 5 is tonight already which means the finale is the day before thanksgiving. :wow:

I distinctly remember AT LEAST 12 were still around for the thanksgiving episode last season (foo fighters thanksgiving). What gives? they plannning on releasing Top Chef Junior for the new year?

1. Weren't there two Top Chefs this year (actually 3)

There was one in the spring, masters during the summer, and this one now.

perhaps they're getting into a rythym of Top Chef original in the fall, Top Chef Junior in the Spring, Top Chef Masters in the summer

3. It's getting to be too much

I was looking forward to a Top Chef free summer. Next thing you know they announce Masters and I am forced to watch. This season has been excellent. That helps the show.

4. I really enjoyed Masters

I liked the ratings system and the Chefs they got to compete. I'd be perfectly fine if they stuck with the original during the regular TV season and Masters in the Summer.

but there will be "Top Chef: Just Desserts" which “will consist of pastry chefs competing against one another in a series of challenges.”
