Is the bully that clueless, or just pretending to be? "Mr. Monk and the Bully"

episode, Season 7. Saw it last night.

Monk confronted the man who had bullied him mercilessly in middle school; he'd hold Monk's head in the toilet in the boys' bathroom.

The man was clueless, saying it was just harmless fun.

I think either: the man was so narcissistic he couldn't possibly have empathy for anybody else, or he was in big-time denial to justify his actions.

Your thoughts?

1. IMO Some children are poorly raised....
Either, whatever they do is condoned by their parents (usually as just being boys) or the parents aren't
interacting with their child and give no guidance or show no concern.

2. I agree. Many parents belittle their kids who do not fight
many parents praise their sons who bully others, who demean girls.
