Tabata training. Anyone else tried it?
I'm going to give it a shot but was wondering if anyone had a good combination schedule for incorporating Tabata sessions with regular weight training? My understanding is that it is 20 seconds of balls to the wall reps then a 10 second "rest" - wash rinse repeat with the same exercise or go through a 4 or 6-7 different exercise routine.

I don't want to just do the Tabata cycles over and over. Maybe just two times a week with two days dedicated to regular (non-high intensity) sets with weights.

I've recently been doing 1 minute of high speed running followed by one minute of slow jog repeated over and over up to 6 times and that's been great. I think that's called HIIT training.

Any thoughts on this?
