You know what else I hate? Male a capella 'rock' groups, like Rockapella
and Tonic Solfa and other pathetic assholes.

I'd go to their shows if they had a rule that the audience can use tazers on them at will, but otherwise I wish they'd shut the fuck up.

Holy crap, it's interesting for the first 10 seconds, then it's like "Goddamn, this is boring as hell."

Seriously.

Best a capella play ever: "Forever Plaid" -- totally awesome!

8. They're not really a capella, though. And certainly not in that awful rockapella tradition.
They're dippy and annoying because of the dippiness, but they're still doing real music, though of a dippy kind.

9. This is one a capella group I like
The Persuasions, who were given a major boost by Zappa early in their careers, when he gave them their first contract.

So some years after his death, they did this tribute album for him:

"Frankly A Capella: The Persuasions Sing Zappa"

1. Duodenum
2. Any Way the Wind Blows
3. Electric Aunt Jemima
4. The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing
5. Interlude
6. Cheap Thrills
7. Hot Plate Heaven at the Green Hotel
8. Love of My Life
9. You Are What You Is
10. Interlude 2
11. Harder Than Your Husband
12. Find Her Finer
13. Interlude 3
14. My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama
15. Tears Began to Fall/Mystery Track
