oh great. at the doggie er. so strange
terrier was sitting on the couch, refusing to open her eyes, ignoring the fact that it was doggie dinner time.
at the emergency vet, but so far they don't have too much of a clue. gonna look at her eyes, but I think there is something else going on here.
sigh

6. Maybe she's having an anxiety attack or depression. I think one of my
dogs gets anxiety attacks. She starts shaking for no reason and doesn't stop for a long time even with me holding her and putting blankets over her. Then she is fine/

7. i think she might have been a little tired. or a little dehydrated, even.
they are not that used to walks, and i had taken them for a nice brisk one. she was pretty pooped out when we got home.
in the end they gave her some sub/q fluids, and that seemed to perk her up. well, that and getting out of there and back into the car.
if it were her sister, i might have thought it was anxiety, cuz she is the nervous one. the whole walk she will have her tail tucked tightly. but this one is always excited to go and do stuff.
maybe just worn out, tho.
or maybe there will be another chapter.

8. It's frustrating to spend all that money just to find

that they can't find anything wrong. On the other hand, it can be a relief, if there truly is nothing wrong.

I hope doggy's okay from now on.

9. yeah, that was the point, anyway.
she didn't seem like she was ill, just weird. but weird in a way that made ya worry.
i did nearly turn around and go back home when we got to the vet, and she hopped out of the car just like her usual self. might have, except that i had my tender hearted son with me, who would probably have knocked me out and taken her in. but after a couple minutes in there, she was squinting again. and she was eerily calm.
a calm terrier is a scary thing.
guess that's what i get for listening to that cesar, and wearing the little buggers out. (the walk was really for me- i need to do it. but it helps to have it focused on something else. this kid is a nervous licker, so...)
