1. I got it on the 5th try...
...but sometimes, especially with South Dakota, it simply wouldn't let me put it in there.

5. Same here
Plus, it takes time to drag the names to the states. Would have been easier had I could just click on them, or something.

3. I kill at these ...

My parents got me a 50 state and a nations of the world puzzle when I was about 7, and for some reason I became obsessed with them. I think it was the cartoon-ish scenes on the pieces and the fact they showed the location of things like World Cowpie Throwing Championship. I memorized them so well that I do have a bit of trouble with world nations now. The map isn't the same as it was when I was a kid. Former USSR states and parts of Africa are particularly difficult.

I had trouble placing Maine and Florida. They didn't want to go in their proper places. Weird that a place Delaware went in so easily and Florida gave some many problems.

12. I piss myself off too ...

... with the awesomeness of me. ;-)

Seriously, though, I have a quasi-photographic memory, so my brain kinda cheats with many things. It's not a real photographic memory. It only involves visual patterns. I'd make a great witness to a crime scene, but if the criminal hit me over the head before I saw anything, then blindfolded me before telling me their name, address, and phone number and verbally gave me directions to their house, I wouldn't be able to tell the cops a thing.

4. That one's fun - the one that frustrates me is the one without lines on the map,
and it serves up states in random order. If it starts you with middle states, you're pretty much screwed...

6. Maybe it's just my poor point & drag skills,
but I had a horrible time getting it to accept Maine and Montana, when I knew fuckin' well where they were! Or, maybe the whole test is just a goof, in which case, you got me.

7. Same here. Also, South Dakota
and when I selected Utah I realized that I was dragging PA.

Finally got them all, shoving Montana and South Dakota again and again..

8. Fun..but frustrating. I know where Maine goes and it just would not take it
The same thing happened with Virginia. DO you have to get it dead center or something?

9. This game is messed up
Edited on Mon Nov-16-09 02:13 AM by pokerfan
It wouldn't accept Maine so I put it off until last. It still wouldn't accept it no matter how many times I tried.

And how come it doesn't highlight the UP region of Michigan?
