1. She should be suspended, but the article also says this is common

at women's soccer matches. How about at men's soccer matches? (I mean, punching/hitting, as there will likely be far fewer chances for hair pulling...)

Is this going to set up every team videotaping opposing players looking for illegal punches, kicks, hair-pulls, etc?

2. in my experience, no

i think, frankly, that bullies in the women's game get away with a lot more, because there is less retaliation. every team needs an enforcer, someone who the other team knows will extract revenge for cheap shots by going after the other team's stars. in my experience, women's teams are less likely to have that, and therefore are more prone to bullying like this.

7. I can't speak for women's soccer, but....

this was the reason why my HS had to end the annual powder puff football game. The girls spent more time kicking each other's asses on the field than actually playing football.

she should have had multiple red cards...the officials need to be the FIRST people fired for letting it go on...Her coach also deserves at least a reprimand for not pulling her out...

The next time around if the refs don't do anything about it, the players will.

1) If you watch the video objectively you'll see that the BYU player instigates fouls prior to Lamert retaliating in both cases...

2) I wonder if she'd marry me...LOL
